The Phony Art Collective emerged out of a collaboration between Brighton art students Bran Flakes and Richard Matthews, staging one-night only group shows in their Brighton flat and then the Regency Town House in 2023. (un)table is the first of two  short exhibitions which the Phony Art Collective have curated at Gallery DODO over a six-week period and  presents work by themselves which considers “identity, addiction, childhood, nostalgia, and the individual paradigms of growing up”. (Doomscroll) brings together over 50 artists who have contributed either found or produced memes which are displayed alongside hundreds of others taken from the internet.
